Even small weddings and elopements come with a lot of choices, and picking a photographer can feel like another box to check. But it’s one of the most important choices you’ll make: your photographer is with you for most of the day, and the photos are what last long after it’s over.
I have experience with elopements of all kinds, from overnight backpacking elopements to small, intimate gatherings, and I know how to adapt to changing conditions so your day goes smoothly. I’ll help you with timelines, location choices and vendor recommendations, making the planning process easier while keeping things stress-free.
Style and portfolio are important. You should love the way your photos look. My photography style focuses on capturing natural, authentic moments. My goal is to enhance the colors and mood of your photos in a creative, film-inspired way, without changing the way you remember it.
I’m calm, approachable and flexible, so you can relax and enjoy the day without feeling posed or pressured.
If you’re planning an elopement or small wedding that feels true to you, and want a photographer who values that, you’re in the right place. I’m a Northern Colorado elopement photographer and I’ve been in your shoes. My husband and I chose to elope with just the two of us, our dog and a photographer, so I know firsthand what it’s like to step away from tradition and plan a day that’s simple, meaningful, and completely your own.
That same belief guides how I work. I care deeply about the people and the energy of the day. I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward, most of us aren’t models. We need a little direction and someone to notice the details, like a flyaway hair or where to put your hands. I take a balanced approach, giving just enough guidance to help you feel comfortable while keeping the photos natural and real.
Eloping gives you space to slow down and actually experience your day together. Whether that means hiking to a quiet overlook in Rocky Mountain National Park or sharing vows with a few close loved ones, you deserve elopement photos that feel honest and true to that experience.
When you look back on your photos, I want you to remember how it felt, the calm before your vows, the laughter echoing through the mountains, the small moments that made the day yours. That’s what elopement photography in Colorado is about: telling your story exactly as it happened, without pressure or pretense.

I focus on your story: how the two of you connect, laugh, and move through the day together. I don’t show up with expectations or a cookie-cutter shot list. Instead, I create space for you to be fully yourselves. When you’re relaxed and genuinely enjoying each other, that’s when the real magic happens, and that’s exactly what I’m here to bring out and capture.
Stress-Free
My husband and I eloped in the summer of 2023 and had a small dinner party with our closest friends and family afterwards. I’ve gone through the process of picking a location and traveling there, finding the photographer who meets my budget while still having beautiful photos and making sure the day felt meaningful and true to us.
I bring this perspective to every elopement I shoot, keeping the moments that mattered most to me in mind and improving on the things I wish I had known when we eloped.

Real Understanding
I’m based in Fort Collins and have called Colorado home my entire life, which means I know exactly where to take you for the most magical light, views, and privacy. When you book with me, you get a local guide who handles the logistics, understands permits, and connects you with trusted Colorado vendors. My goal is to take every bit of planning stress off your plate so the two of you can be fully present, relaxed, and free to enjoy your day together.
Local Expertise
If you’re this far, you probably already have an idea of what an elopement is. It’s simply a wedding day that’s stripped back to what matters most: you and your partner committing to each other in a way that feels most true to you. It doesn’t have to mean running away in secret. It can be just the two of you on a mountaintop, or a small celebration with your closest people.
What is an elopement?
Definitely. I’m happy to help you find a location, guide you in applying for the proper permits, and general logistics like timing, vendor recommendations and order of events. I’ve photographed all over Northern Colorado and the mountains, so I can recommend spots that fit the kind of scenery and vibe you want.
Do you help with planning or finding a location?
After your session, you’ll receive a link to an online gallery with all your professionally edited images. For weddings, this usually takes about four weeks. From the gallery, you can pick your favorites, download them, share with friends and family, and even order prints.
What’s the turnaround time for our photos?
It’s important to me to capture a balance of genuine, spontaneous moments with simple, thoughtful poses. Most of us aren’t models and don’t have a ton of experience in front of a camera, and that’s normal! At certain points during your wedding day - family photos or bridal portraits - I’ll absolutely take charge and tell you exactly where to put your hands, where to look, how big to smile and I’ll fix that pesky fly-away hair. Other parts of the day, like when you’re getting ready, or having a ‘first look’, I take a mostly hands-off approach. I might gently offer a suggestion here and there, but largely, I’m here to document your wedding day, not direct it.
Will you direct us?
